What is the recommended age for using your products?

Adult supervision is strongly recommended for children ages 13 and under who are using any of our products.

With supervision, kids as young as 8 successfully program and build with the Hummingbird Robotics Kit. Care should be taken to correctly connect components to the Hummingbird controller, as it is possible to damage the electronics if they’re incorrectly connected.

The Finch Robot can be programmed by kids as young as 5 years old using our icon-based programming languages (no reading required!), all the way up to adults using industry-standard programming languages like Python and Java.

Our products are designed to be low floor, no ceiling: young students can work with them, but students of any age or experience level will find engaging, educational ways to use them as well.
