How do I tell the difference between micro:bit V1 and micro:bit V2?

The easiest way to determine if you have a micro:bit V1 or micro:bit V2 is to check the micro:bit logo on the front of the board. If the logo is the same color as the triangles on the top left corner, you have a micro:bit V1. If the logo is metallic gold, you have a micro:bit V2.

Alternatively, if your micro:bit is not plugged into your Finch Robot or Hummingbird Robotics Kit, you can also find a version number on the lower right hand corner on the back of the micro:bit.
